At 10 o’clock in the morning the Tag Alarm system activated at the premises of Smart Glass in Thurnscoe, South Yorkshire.

Smart Glass has ceased trading and the system has been installed by Elite Security to protect the equipment still on site until it can be sold and to protect the premises in general. Peter Parker the Sales Director of the company, himself an ex Police dog handler, happened to be in the area and responded to the call.

On entering the premises he found one adult male burglar whom he promptly detained and later handed over to the local Police.
